Who are our members?
Our members are IS/IT Project Management professionals
engaged in or contributing to the development and
deployment of information systems. These can include
software, hardware, communications networks, etc.
IS/IT Project Management
professionals work in internal corporate systems
departments, business units that own information systems,
third parties offering technology services and academic
institutions.
People who work in IS and
IT include:
programmers, programmer/analysts, systems analysts,
applications analysts, systems programmers, data base
administrators, consultants, graphical designers, web
designers, testing specialists, network specialists,
hardware specialists, Project Leaders, Project Managers,
Program Managers, IS/IT Group Managers, IS/IT Executives
and business unit managers involved in IS/IT.
Information Systems
include corporate systems (such as e-commerce, customer
relationship management, accounting systems, and automated
banking functions), systems products provided by vendors
(such as applications software, operating systems, and
middleware), as well as "embedded systems" in
aerospace, manufacturing, telecommunications, and other
business areas.
